The next Fashion Week and the Pret-a-Porter is months away, but this does not mean that fashion designers have an opportunity to make a break in their work. A few days ago, another “wedding” season started in New York, and the most authoritative representatives of American fashion demonstrated the new wedding gowns collection for the spring-summer 2013.
Among these designers was Oscar de la Renta. His new collection wonderfully brings together the best traditions of wedding fashion and original details: soft pastel colors, floral patterns and applications, “mermaid” silhouette dresses. But the most radical innovation was … a wedding trouser suit, which de la Renta apparently designed for the most radically-minded brides.
