Dior Couture to Adore by Patrick Demarchelier and Vogue

Christian Dior haute couture Spring-Summer 2012 collection, presented a few weeks ago, has received another portion of criticism targeted at Bill Gaytten, Dior’s acting chief designer.

One of the most popular remarks to the new collection was that despite all its beauty the collection simply failed to reach the highest standards of haute couture collections. The May issue of Vogue Japan corrects this opinion due to the efforts of Patrick Demarchelier. The famous fashion photographer has created an amazingly beautiful photo shoot for Vogue Nippon dedicated to Dior haute couture Spring-Summer 2012 and gave it the symbolic name “Couture to Adore”.

The new judgement about the Dior collection owes greatly not only to Demarchelier, but Anna dello Russo as well. The extravagant editor of Vogue Nippon was personally involved in styling the images that the Polish supermodel Anja Rubik had tried on.
