On October 15, 2009, New York hosted a show of a new Banana Republic collection for the spring-summer 2010. The collection is centered around pragmatism. It is geared towards creating everyday wear for everyone. 
The collection is based on using stylish-looking denim (denim trench coats, faded-colored jeans and shirts) combined with cotton cardigans and flax dresses.
