None of these discoveries really surprise me. Hardcore insomnia plagued me for most of my adult life and I can tell you that at times I felt like I was literally coming apart at the seams, even though I eat well, exercise, don't smoke or do drugs and hardly drink at all. When it's really long-term I think insomnia it gets to the point where you can't really cure it yourself and do need something to help you. I wrote a fun piece about my struggles with it and my (sometimes funny, but not for me at the time) adventures with various pills and remedies. Check it out it may even help you http://battlinginsomnia.blogspot.com and good luck to all insomniacs! Trust me, if I can overcome it anybody can!
