Sea Salt against Stress and Cellulite

Sea SaltThey say that life started in the ocean. Scientists are still not sure about that. However, it has been proven that the “sea treasures” can significantly help us and solve various problems in our lives, for instance relieve stress or get rid of cellulite. Salt is one of the most important sea “treasures. It is obtained through evaporation of sea water such that the resulting salt contains a whole list of core “bonuses”.

In addition, it has been estimated that seas and oceans contain enough salt to cover the entire surface of the earth with almost 1 ft of pure salt. Can you imagine this? 1 ft is about the height of an eight-storey building!

Health Benefits of Dead Sea Salt

Dead Sea salt is particularly good for our health. Dead Sea waters are rich in magnesium, calcium, iodine, and iron. Sea salt contributes to elimination of tissue water, wastes, yet, at the same time it does not dry the skin out and even helps fight cellulite.

How to Make Sea Salt Bath

  • fill bathtub with water (temperature should not exceed 37° C, 98.6 Fahrenheit),
  • dissolve 300 g of sea salt and take a bath for 10-15 minutes,
  • take a warm shower and wrap yourself in a terry robe.

Regular “immersions” like this, in combination with subsequent massage of the problem areas, improve skin tone and smooth it out. Furthermore, this procedure helps calm down the nerves, relieves tension and fatigue, and supplies iodine to the body.
