I also recomend to use a large sinthetic flat brush for applying foundations , then blend using fingers . Works much better them the sponge, although very messy !

I have to agree with the person above me. I’ve never heard of anything as ridiculous as being turned off by drinking out of a beer bottle….what about coke bottles….or sprite bottles? Are we just supposed to take a glass w/ us everywhere?! From personal experience….this is NOT true. In fact, I have had guys tell me it’s a turn on that I actually drink beer! When I ask why, the usual response is because it makes them feel more comfortable in their own skin. Secondly, I’ve even had guys tell me its hott if a girl drinks straight out of the milk carton. While I’ve never tried this, nor would I, the obvious lesson is that guys tend to flock around those that they feel most comfortable around.

Bullies are the greatest dogs ever. I just lost my best mate of 10 years last week. He got out & chased a local farmers chooks & horses & he shot him. You will not find a more loyal dog than a bull terrier. His girlfriend (also purebred bully-8yrs old) is now so lonely without her man..I’m now in the market for another bully!

I wish columnists would stop using titles like the one to this article in order to get an audience. It should read Dysfunctional women choose bad guys. The title as it is makes good guys feel insecure, right when the stupid jocks and machos are
also trying to bolster themselves up by calling the good guys wimps and under a woman’s petticoats. Some women choose totally ineligible partners because they know they do not want to settle down and the guy being so inappropriate is a surety that the relationship will stay casual. Some women then get sucked into a bad relationship, because our religions and role models still tell us that true women can “save” bad men from themselves, and that is the essence of womenhood. Many women believe this, even subconsciously. I am considered a “hottie” and I love considerate, gentlemanly, nurturing men who are good communicators and know themselves. They’re out there and worth waiting for.
Men and women who are too passive, or unconfident etc etc are more likely to get into dysfunctional relationship, so please stop making over-simple shock
statements. Good guys, keep working on showing us and our kids a better model of masculinity than what we have out there now …

Hi all,

I have always thought that bull terriers were ugly, but my partner loves them so i finaly gave into him and we purchased a purebred from the pound (pound said they didnt have a bullie on for 4 years) He is now 8 months old and i love him to bits and he always gets along with our other pup… Only thing i cant stand is his stubbornness, so i am determined to get him trained soon. Does anyone know any good training places in Sydney NSW, and also he isnt putting weight on can someone please help me there also..
Who ever hates bull terriers should meet one and then they will fall in love just like i did.

first of all, I agree with Benjamin Franklin as well, and absolutely sincerely.

Second, I actually have two favorite beer brands: one is Paulaner Hefe-Weissbier Naturtrüb, and the other one is Tuborg Twist.

We surely can find real beer, which can be healthy, when drunk moderately, but most of the brands sold today refer to ones described in the article. Well, of course, it depends on what you call “real beer”. For some “real beer” is only that one they prefer to drink, while everything else is “dishwater”. Some can consult Wikipedia, for example, to get the definition…

I think it’s stupid the way these so called “aggressive” dogs are persecuted in today’s media. I grew up with both bull terriers and pit bulls, and have never, ever had a problem with any of my babies. It’s the few specifically trained fighting dogs, that spoil it for the rest of them.

For the record, some of the most aggressive dogs are tiny, little lapdogs. They’re far more likely to attack if they feel threatened. I’ve been attacked quite a few times by some snooty bitches lap pet.

I personally am not attracted to men who are egoists, or rude, or have no respect for the law. There is something about “bad boys” that are attractive though. I think it’s the confidence they have, or the excitement…perhaps both. Also I think there’s something to the way they dress and act like they’re the greatest, haha. I like real men, who act tough even if they’re not really, someone who can protect me.

First of all, I agree with Benjamin Franklin that “Beer is living proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy.”

Second, I do wonder what the “favorite sort of a certain brand” of this author is, since he or she correctly points out that many of the health benefits of beer disappear or decrease upon things like pasteurization, using rice, wheat, and corn, or having 12 percent alcohol (only achievable by artificial blending) – practices which, while illegal in some countries, are typical for all of the large US mass brews, but not of concern when consuming real beer.
Calling the latter a ‘rarely made classic’ ignores the the ubiquitous availability – in part a result of the microbrew trend - of healthy, natural, import and sometimes even purity-law compliant beers.

these pictures are beautiful. i live in the south of england and we have lots of forests,woods and hills, autumn is my favourite season i love the vibrant reds,browns and orange colours of the leaves they’re so vibrant i also like autumn because it makes me reflect on the year thats just past and remember all the good times and all the great people i’ve met. it’s a very inspiring season.

Um…..That picture that is labeled “Grand Central Station” is wrong on two accounts.

1) Grand Central is not a station, it is a Terminal, thus making it Grand Station Terminal. Stations have trains that pass through it. Terminals are Located at the end of the line. With the exception of the Subway, Grand Central is a Terminal for the Metro-North Railway.

2) The photo is of Rockefeller Center.
