Madonna spent her Valentine’s Day with Gerard Butler. The pop queen and the actor appeared before the crowd of revelers at the annual carnival in Rio de Janeiro. The surprising appearance was not a date but a part of promotional campaign by Brahma, Brazilian beer brand.

The celebrities enjoyed themselves, wearing Brahma logo T-shirts. Madonna brought along her daughters, Lourdes and Mercy James. Jesus Luz, whose relationship with Madge remains unclear to the public, was also at the party. Rumors have it that the couple broke up a few weeks ago.

Butler was joined by Rodrigo Santoro who co-stared with Butler in 300 movie. What’s curious is that Santoro was named a gay icon, while Butler has long been suspected of having gay sexuality.
