Lost Star Faces Sexual Harassment Accusations

Primetime Emmy Award nominee for his role as Desmond Hume on the television hit series Lost, Scottish-Peruvian classical theatre actor, television and movie star Henry Ian Cusick, 42, sees accusations from Chelsea Stone, a former ABC Entertainment employee.

The woman who worked for ABC since 1997 alleges in the lawsuit filed recently to a Los Angeles Court that Cusick fondled her buttocks and breasts and kissed her on the lips. The incident occurred in October 2007.

Chelsea reported this abusive behavior to her supervisor who advised her to avoid Cusick. In less than two-week time the woman was fired from ABC’s popular television series presumably in retaliation for revealing the incident.

It took another year and a half that the woman decided to go through with lawsuit against ABC Entertainment and Grass Skirt Productions as defendants, saying she was unjustly fired and became the victim of “hostile work environment harassment, failure to remedy and prevent harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination in violation of public policy, intentional infliction of emotional distress and sexual battery.”

The amount of damage Stone is seeking is not specified so far. She also sued ABC Entertainment and Grass Skirt Production, which act as defendants in point.

ABC representatives and Cusick’s spokesperson refuse to comment.

Lost star, Cusick and wife Annie married in a civil ceremony following fourteen years of cohabitation on July 15, 2006. The couple lives in Oahu, Hawaii together and parents their three sons, Elias, Lucas and Esau.
