Kelis, 29, singer for the Milkshake band, gave out in February that she was pregnant, and now the great event happened! Kelis and Nas have a baby boy!

The baby, named Knight Jones, saw the light in New York City around 9 p.m. on Wednesday after more than a day’s labor. Kelis’s rep says that she delivered naturally, with her mother and sister staying by. The boy weights 7 lbs., 8 oz.

“The beautiful baby boy and his mother are doing wonderful,” the rep added.

The first for Kelis, Knight Jones is Nas’s second child. Nas, 35, already has a 15-year-old daughter by name of Destiny.

Kelis and Nas are on the verge of divorce.
